01 / Brand Overview

Sensaphonics at a glance

Monitoring you can trust, at levels you can keep.

Every Sensaphonics monitor is built from 100% medical-grade soft silicone, so the shell seals deeper and stays comfortable far longer than hard acrylic. That full, consistent seal lets you mix at lower, safer levels and still hear every detail, set after set.

// Audiologist-founded

Hearing-first design

Sensaphonics was founded by an audiologist and built around protecting musicians’ hearing, not just pushing volume on stage.

// The material

100% soft silicone

Every custom monitor is full medical-grade soft silicone, which seals deeper and stays comfortable far longer than a hard acrylic shell.

// Fit in-house

Molded to your ear

We take impressions in our Midtown Manhattan and Garden City offices, then verify the finished fit and sound.

04 / Custom Fit

How a custom fit works

Custom monitors start with your ears, not a size chart.

  1. 1

    Ear check & impressions

    We look in the ear, clear wax if needed, and take precise silicone impressions of each ear canal.

  2. 2

    Choose your model & options

    We help you pick the right Sensaphonics monitor or earplug, driver count, ambient option, and finish for how you perform.

  3. 3

    Sensaphonics hand-builds

    Your impressions go to Sensaphonics, where each soft-silicone monitor is built by hand to your exact anatomy.

  4. 4

    Fit check & verification

    You come back to confirm comfort, seal, and sound, and we adjust until it is right.

05 / Care

Keep them gig-ready

Wipe after use

Clean the monitors with a dry or lightly damp cloth after each show, and clear the sound bores gently with the tool provided.

Store dry

Keep them in their case, away from heat and direct sun, which can affect the silicone and cables over time.

Mind the cables

Coil cables loosely and check connectors. Replaceable cables are easy to swap if one wears out.

Refit as needed

Ears change over the years. If the seal loosens, we can re-impression and remake for a perfect fit.

06 / FAQ

Sensaphonics questions

Why soft silicone instead of hard acrylic?

Soft silicone seals deeper in the canal for better isolation and bass, and it stays comfortable through long sets. It is the core of what Sensaphonics does.

Do I need ear impressions?

Yes. Custom monitors are built from impressions of your ears, which we take in office in a few minutes.

Can in-ear monitors protect my hearing?

Yes. A good custom seal lets you monitor at lower levels, and the 3D Active Ambient system and gMAX earplugs add protection while you hear the room naturally.

How long do they take to make?

Impressions are done in office. The finished monitors come back from Sensaphonics, usually within a couple of weeks, and we do a short fit check when they arrive.

Do you fit Sensaphonics at both offices?

Yes. We take impressions and fit Sensaphonics in both Midtown Manhattan and Garden City, Long Island.
