01 What it meansClinic-quality care, your space

What at-home audiology means.

At-home audiology is full hearing care delivered in your own space by a doctor of audiology, rather than in a clinic. We arrive with appropriate portable diagnostic equipment and the same clinical standards you would expect in the office, just on your schedule.

For many people, a home visit removes the friction of travel, parking, and waiting rooms. You get unhurried, one-on-one time with your audiologist, whether you need a hearing test, help with your hearing aids, or ongoing follow-up. Some complex diagnostic cases are still better handled in the office, and we will always tell you honestly when an in-office visit would serve you better.

Who an in-home visit is best for.

Home visits suit anyone who values convenience, but they are especially helpful in a few situations.

Mobility

Limited mobility

Family

Caregivers & families

Loved ones can take part in the visit, ask questions, and learn how to support daily hearing aid use at home.

Schedule

Busy schedules

If a clinic visit is hard to fit in, concierge scheduling lets us come to your home or workplace at a time that works.

03 During a visitMost routine care travels well

What we can do during a home visit.

Most routine hearing care translates well to the home. Here is what a visit can include.

Diagnostics

Hearing tests at home

Using appropriate portable equipment, we can complete many diagnostic hearing tests in your home. If a case calls for specialized equipment, we will arrange an office visit instead.

Fittings

Hearing aid fittings

We fit and fine-tune hearing aids in the environments where you actually use them, so the settings reflect your real daily life.

Service

Programming & troubleshooting

If your devices need adjustment, we handle hearing aid programming and troubleshooting on site, and arrange repairs when needed.

Tinnitus

Tinnitus support

For ringing or buzzing, we offer counseling and management strategies, and can guide you toward a fuller tinnitus evaluation when appropriate.

04 ConciergeOne audiologist · Your time

Concierge care, on your schedule.

Concierge here simply means care built around you: one audiologist, your time, your setting, and the patience to do things properly. There is no rushing you through a slot and no passing you between staff. We bring the appointment to your door, take the time to explain what we find, and make sure you and your family leave the visit feeling confident about next steps. It is clinical quality and personal attention, without the logistics of getting to a clinic.
