Care for your model.
Filters and domes do not share one replacement schedule across every device. Follow your model's instructions and the plan from your audiologist. For example, Oticon's care guidance calls for monthly filter replacement, or sooner when clogged or sound changes. If you are unsure which part or schedule applies, ask us before replacing it.
Clean your hearing aids
Wipe them with a soft, dry cloth or a hearing aid brush before bed. Never use water or alcohol.
Check the filters
Use your model's replacement schedule and the correct filter. Check sooner if it becomes clogged or the sound changes.
Check the domes
Follow your model's instructions for inspection and replacement. Keep the size and style fitted by your audiologist; ask us if you are unsure.
