App Privacy Policy
Effective June 10, 2026 · Applies to the Pinnacle Audiology mobile and web app
The short version: the Pinnacle Audiology app has no accounts, no sign-in, and no tracking. Everything you enter stays on your own device. We do not collect, transmit, sell, or share your personal information.

Information stored on your device
To make the app useful, some information is saved in your device’s local storage only:
- Device record: hearing aid brand, model, serial numbers, dome size, receiver wire, and warranty date you choose to enter
- Hearing notes: anything you write in the “My Hearing” section
- Hearing self-check results: your answers and score
- Shopping cart: items you add (carts clear automatically after 7 days)
- Preferences: text size, contrast, and game progress
This information never leaves your device. We cannot see it. Deleting the app (or clearing your browser data, for the web version) erases it permanently.
Information you choose to send us
When you tap Call, Text, Email, or “Send order by email,” the app opens your phone’s own dialer, messaging, or mail app with the details pre-filled. Nothing is sent until you choose to send it, and it travels through your own phone service or email provider, not through the app.
Third-party content
Some screens load content from third parties, which have their own privacy policies:
- YouTube: how-to videos are streamed using YouTube’s privacy-enhanced player (no playback tracking until you press play)
- Google Maps: the office map on the More screen
- Google Fonts: typefaces used in the app
- Online booking: the Book a Visit button opens our scheduling provider in your browser
Health information
The hearing self-check is an educational guide, not a medical diagnosis. Your answers are scored on your device and are not transmitted to Pinnacle Audiology or anyone else. The app is not connected to our clinical or medical record systems.
Children
The app is intended for adults and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
If we ever change how the app handles information, we will update this page and the date above before the change takes effect.
